Default coolant leak.... help

I just bought a 850 r wagon, and am having a coolant leak on or around the turbo. The head and block are clean. Anyone know of a common problem. It does not always leak, just 80% of the time. Every night when I park, there is a 4" puddle after about 30 min. Please help, I have worked on Nissan's all my life and built a silvia so I am unfamiliar w/ water cooled turbo

Check the firewall where the 2 heater hoses go into the firewall sometimes they will start leaking there. You can bye a kit to replace the o-rings and washers.Did the car have any a/c work done lately? Some times if the evaperator gas been done when the heater lines are removed and installed they start to leak.If not from there try to clean the area real good with soap and water then recheck.Try not to get the top of the engine to wet or the water will weap in bye the spark plug wires causing missfiring.

funny you should mention, but the a/c does not work. The fans is working, but the compressor does not kick in. any ideas on that. Are those heater hoses fairly easy to get too, or do I need to remove items. I also noticed that the heat does not blow very hot. Maybe that could be a result of leaky hoses?

With the a/c you probaly have a leak in the evaperator the best thing to do is have some one charge it up and put dye in the system. If the evaperator is leaking when the freon leaks out you will see the dye under the car because it will come out the drain under the car.The heater hosed have a clip on them you press from both sides on the tabs and the hose will come out.The heat not working could poss. be that or could also be other things try fixing the leak first then let me know.
