Default coolant leaking

I have noticed coolant leaking and sitting under the right front tire area. Is this the water pump leaking?

It could be from anywhere:

- Reservoir/its cap.
- Any of the rubber hose connections.
- Water pump.
- Radiator.
- etc...

Can you open the hood and start the engine to idle to see where it's leaking from? Also, how fast are you losing coolant?

To check for leak at the water pump, with the engine OFF, remove the 12mm bolt that is holding the timing belt cover and remove the cover by wiggling it upward; this exposes the timing belt area and the water pump is at the lower-left of that area.

Make sure not to let the coolant level drop until the problem is corrected.

Based on the location, I'm betting a hose or the coolant cap, but like JPN said, it could be from several places. Best to start it and look

Thanks this is very helpful. It is dripping. I had it up on a ramp and did not see much . I will take the cover off.

Do you have any information on changing pump and drive belt.

Someone had a post on the procedure here but I cannot find it so here's an alternative:

A Haynes service manual is also helpful. If you have not done this before, work with someone who has done it. Upon completion of the job, make sure to turn the engine by hand (turn the crank pulley with a breaker bar) for at least 3-5 times to make sure that nothing is binding. If the valves & pistons are not in synch, the engine would be damaged when started.

Make sure to use the OEM parts only.
