Cooling fans seem to be running all the time??
This is a 97' GLT with 170k on the clock. I changed out the radiator earlier this year and have not had any cooling problems except the fans run all of the time when the car is on and for a brief period after the car is turned off. Right now, the temp outside is quite cool and the car is only being driven short distances yet the fans still run. Any ideas on why and how to fix it?
Thanks,
Zack

No I did not change the thermostat. Sounds like it is the temp sensor though?? The check engine light had been on at one time but is now off. Where is the temp sensor located and how do I access it?
Also, where can I buy a new one? Does anyone have a site or store recommendation? How about a part number?
Autozone has something called an "Electric Fan Thermostat" What is this??
Thanks!

Follow the upper radiator hose to the motor. That is the thermostat housing. You will need either a T-40 or T-45 I forget exactly which size I have a special socket I use and just grab it. Then sensor you will need a 19MM wrench.
The sensor is kind of a pain but the rest is pretty easy.
