Corroded Trunk Handle, Strange buzzing noise in glove box
Hi new to the forum, Just received an 850 as a gift, upgraded from a dodge caravan. Absolutely love the chunky retro feel. However there are a few problems.
My trunk latch seems to be missing whatever makes it return to its original position.
For example, when I pull the handle down, if it doesn't open, I need to slip my key between the handle and the handle space to "reset" it and try again.
The handle looks corroded and something needs replacement, but I can't find any guides online to help.
Second problem is this strange buzzing noise coming from behind the glovebox.
After removing the glove box there is a clip directly behind it situated slightly offset to the right
After unclipping it it stops, I'd like to know what this is.
Also my defroster doesn't work.
Edit: Forgot to mention, Is there any way to make my car ride smoother over bumps? I live on a dirt road and going over a pothole or two sounds like .22
Thanks
