My coolant tank is cracked and leaking. I went up to my local Volvo dealer and bought a new one, which I had to order. It took nearly a month to come in. The new one looks different - smaller and a different shape.

Does anybody know if Volvo changed the design from the original tank? I could try to make it work, but I don't want to mess it up if it's the wrong tank. I'll probably have to head back to the dealer and wait another month. Ho hum.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

 

I just pulled the old one off and had a look. It's totally different. Back to the Volvo dealer tomorrow!

I have four of them if you cant find one. Provided the hose outlets are there it really would not matter if its a different size but odd that it would come that way.
