Default Crank-sensor - teeth?

1. I'm Megasquirting my -96 855. I'm going over the schematics. It runs Fenix 5.2
It seems there is only a cam sensor - but no crank sensor. Can that be ?

I'm finding a unit called Pulse sensor (7/25) - but I don't think it is a crank sensor.

Does anyone know ?

2. If there is only a cam-sensor. Does anyone know how many teeth/any missing - and where TDC is in relation to missing tooth/teeth ?

3. If there is a crank sensor - same thing: How many teeth/missing - and where is TDC in relation to them ?

The closest I found is the pulse sensor, as you have described.

Guys, is there a crank position sensor on 850s?

Yes that is the Crank sensor JPN.

Not sure on the Teeth part of it. I know there is squares cut into the ridge on the flywheel. There is one section that has nothing. That is how it knows TDC as car as I know. I have never paid attention to where the flywheel when it was set on TDC.

Thanks guys !

So the speedo-sensor and crank sensor is the same !?

Since I'm using it both for ignition and injection timing - I just have to find out about number of teeth and position now.

It is a VR-sensor, right ?

I would see if you can find a used 850 flywheel to look at so you have an understanding of it and what it looks like.

I'll see what I can dig out.

'Tech' - do you know if the sensor is a VR-sensor or a Hall-type ?
I'd guess VR, but you never know.

I think it is a VR type but not 100% sure.
