Cruise Control
I've got a 96 850 and the cruise is inop. At first the system would lose speed and now I can't even get it to engage. I think it might be a vacuum problem but could be worse. I've got the Chilton's manual but it's useless for trying to find the items and troubleshoot. Can anyone help with their thoughts and a diagram of where the keys parts are (servo, vacuum valve, etc)?
Thanks!

A very common problem is the vacuum line right under the battery. I've had it happen to me twice, but it was always fixed in the shop so I'm not sure exactly which hose it is.
Yes check the simple & obvious first. Visually inspect the vacuum hoses first assuggested by JimKW.

For those of you whose cruise control does work. When youclick on the cruise control switch via the signal lever, does a light on the dash come on indicating it's on? I get nothing. I have a 98 v70.
