Tech, how do I remove the wood grain dash panel from the front of the dash? It looks to me that I have to remove the dash cover first. I noticed that there are screw holdong it on, but are only accessible if the hvac grills are out. How do I remove these as well. My car is on eBay right now and if I can't get what price I want for it, after being all fixed, I will just make it absolutely sick. I want to paint the front face of the dash as well as the console plastic gloss black to match the exterior. I am also thinking of doing a custom paint job like the omega estate wagon, only with subtle shades of charcoal grey.

 

The wood grain part is part of the dash and is not removable.
Those screws are to remove the upper dash pad.
