Debadging '95 Wagon
rspi: while that's a valid point, its also an equally good argument for debadging it. If everyone already knows what it is, why do you need badges on it proclaiming it? I took mine off because badges (to me) clutter up a car. they also are a pain in the *** to wax around.
That's the best point I have ever seen, not having to clean around them.
I usually remove any sales dealership badges/stickers as soon as I get the car. They last less than 48 hours. I could see it being worth while if you have a T5 that has been upgraded to stage 1 or 2. Then people may think it's a N/A version and get their doors blown off.
I normally use a little heat then polish the paint under it. Heck, I just stopped by the auto parts store to check on molding tape to move mine.

Debadging it really cleans up the back end of the car. And most badges are fading and the silver is wearing off. I used fishing line and then an organic acetone and it cleaned it up pretty well. I didn't have a heat source so it was a major PITA. However, after a couple good polishes and waxes, I can still see the outline of the emblems.

back end of mine: Yeah, I know I embellished a bit with the "R" badge, but oh well....

And yes, I'm well aware that it needed a bath in this pic - i washed it right after i took this pic.
