DEC catalytic conveters
Another enthusiast passed me some very valuable information which I unfortunately didn't have the ability to follow. His 95/96 850 catalytic needed replacing and he went with a model from IMCO, a large free-flow version, which was <$200 + install costs. It's a 3-way - which is a must - and I believe he passed emissions to problem; an obvious easier to swallow solution vs. the $700+ dealer option. I say unfortunately for me, because I could not find a source for it in Canada, and I installed a much smaller alternate (hacked off original)3-way, which has made me fail emissions & I'm now stuck with a non-registered car, and lots'o'bills of atempts to fix the high NOX, but no progress to get it down yet. He too had his hacked off, which is OK to do; there are many other aftermarket solution that will give you the piping as well, for $250. (All $$ in US). If anyone knows of success with a DEC especially passing the emissions, please let us know.
