I've been looking at some used parts online, and have a question

Places refer to color and trim codes. Where do I find these so I am sure I'm looking at the right parts?

I'm pretty sure I'm paint code 189, Polar White - but the interior code, I'm unsure of.

Do I get that from the VIN? From a sticker somewhere on the car?

For further reference, the metal plate in rspi's pic is on the driver's side fender inside the engine bay near the headlight.
