I did the odo gear fix this past week. Bought the gear and instructional video from IPD. I HIGHLY recommend this video. It's very well done and steps you thru the whole process. I did mine from start to finish in just over an hour. That was with taking breaks in between to grab something to eat. I'm so happy to have an odo again.

Gear kit with dvd was $29.95.

Im popping open my dash pad tomorrow, I have the same VDO cluster but mine is a 96. I will do the test and let ya know.

I won't be able to do the cruise test since my
cruise doesn't work.

Someone asked me if it took an hour
including taking the speedo unit out. Popping the dash
and pulling the unit out literally took 10 mins thanks to tha video.
