So I open my door the other day and I hear a loud crunch. Two nice paint chips on the door! Apparently the door stop broke on the inside of the door. The side attached to the door frame is fine. Question is, if I take the cover off the door, can I possibly repair it, or would I need a new one. I know it's hard to tell how it is broke without seeing it.

 

I didn't really read it, but I think this may be the answer. If not search this forum because I know I posted something about this not too long ago.
