I am having trouble with my driver side elctric seat. I think i have to do the recline cord repair. But that is a separate issue. Basically the memory buttons work fine (except for reclining). The separate adjustment buttons dont work at all. Any ideas how to figure this out?

 

If the memory buttons work and the seat changes position when they are pushed it's not a fuse and it's not the motors. It must be something in the switch panel or the wiring behind that panel where power isn't making it to the individual switches or isn't going to the seat.

I'd try popping a couple of these threads open and see if anyone else has fixed theirs.

More information. Things might be better than i thought. First of i never adjust the seat. So i guess some of the buttons might have had "junk" in them. I played with the buttons a little and now the forward/back is working. The rear height adjustment is working. The back angle motor works but i need to do the cable so the seat does not move right now. The only one not working is the front up/down adjustment. In one direction i can hear a click as something makes contact. But in the other direction i dont even hear that. I am going to open up the switch and see if it looks dirty in there. Any other ideas?
Edit: Also i ow realize the the front height motor IS WORKING with my memory buttons. Also it will go down with the side switch but not up. So the only thing not working is that the front height motor wont activate using the directional switch/****.
