My 1995 Volvo 850 had a SC-815 cassette player when i bought it, it died and was replaced with a SC-816 cd/cassette player. now the SC-816 is getting buggy and its been cleaned and relamped and its now more trouble than its worth. i dont really like to 'aftermarket' look to most of the available replacement radios at the electronic stores, will the Volvo HU-615 or other newer generation units fit in the space left in my dash without modification, etc...???

I think it will fit, just make sure it will connect up to the old speaker and power connectors.
