Default Ecu?

Ok, so my 1996 Volvo 850 (non turbo) runs fine, EXCEPT, lights come on upon starting that are not relevent , i.e. bulb sensor, ABS, this and that, nothing wrong with them, they go out after awhile. Sometimes the automatic wont go into reverse or drive upon starting and I have to push the release button located next to it. usually when this happens, turn signals dont work, perodic gas gauge doesnt work or speedo. ALL dash lights stay on after turning car off sometimes, then go off sometime later, after walking away. if I turn car off and restart it , it relieves itself of these problems till next time. WTF is going on? help appreciatedturn to this

Someone with more experience hopefully steps in, but it COULD be an ignition switch. When they fail they can cause many strange problems.

Its a common issue and a 10 minute fix
