Default Engine B5254FS X B5254R main differences

Friends,
Beyond the information that the engine B5254FS is directed to USA market, and the Volvo 5 cylinders non turbo comercialized here in Brazil are equiped with the same engines comercialized in europe (B5254R - made in 1994), I would like to know which the other differences existing between this two engine models.
I am rebuilding a Volvo engine B5254R here in Brazil, and I am facing some problems with reference the piston w/ rings. I bought from USA all parts to do this rebuilding, but in the final step (assemble) the pistons w/ rings that I bought are completly different of the pistons originally assembled in this engine. The only one dimension that is coincident in these pistons is the standard diameter (83,000 mm).
Somebody help me? Thanks in advance!!!

I have this literature too! It is very complete as you said, but this information degree this guide not includes. I did not imagine that this type of information would be so hard to get.
