Default EVERYONE POST YOUR CURRENT MPG!

Hey,

Wondering what everyone is getting for mileage.

Post your year, and model, with your current mileage, and what you get for MPG (and any notes of recent work, improvements or declines)

1996 850 Wagon - 165,000miles - Approx. 18-20mpg average - Just replaced PCV and Oil Filler Cap from FCP

just completed full tune-up as well as reconnecting a loose vacuum line...new (much better) mileage to be reported soon.

1996 850 Turbo Wagon- 160,400 miles. Also replaced PCV saturday. About the same, 17-20mpg since saturday. Havent taken on the highway yet.

It varies SOOOOOO much depending on the brand of fuel i use and how and where i drive my car.
On the highway through the mountains (not all that hilly) i can get a bit over 30MPG
I live right in the city. I travel a bit out of town occasionally but purely incity traffic it can be as bad as 11.5mpg.

7L/100kms - 21L/100kms

1993 960 wagon with 152,000 on the clock. Within the last 20,000 miles the timing belt, spark plugs, water pump, and o2 sensor have been replaced. The throttle body was also cleaned. For normal highway driving, with cruise set at 75 I get a steady 25-26. In town it varies between 17-22.

I got my '96 850 Wagon exactly two weeks ago when I filled her up. I got 20mpg... New air filter, Mobil 1 oil, new transmission oil...

98 V70 GLT - 23.2 mpg
97 850 R - 24.4 mpg
95 T5R - 21.8 mpg

The T5R got 21.4 mpg on a fairly long trip we took last weekend. Not sure why, but the mpg has been going back up this week. I can usually get about 27 mpg on the highway, around 20-22 around town and the above numbers combined driving. Definitely get a little better mileage in the summer too.

94 850 Turbo with 176,759 running14.5 lbs of boost and less than 5K on full tune up.

Currently 24.5 just filled up and drove it to class.

1994 850 GLT 2.0 20V Estate (UK market) - 75,000 miles. Within the last 10,000 miles: timing belt kit, complete new ignition system, ABS pump, throttle body cleaned. Overall - 30mpg.

1993 850 GLT / 232,xxx miles / recently tuned / always try and use Sunoco 94 / 24mpg avg with snows (Hakki 2's) / 28mpg avg with summer tires

1996 850 GLT with 114,000 miles running in Colorado altitudes between 5000 and 7400 feet:

Traveling a remote two lane at very constant 50 to 60 mph speeds: 31.3 mpg
Traveling a mixexpressway (75mph), town and country speeds of 40 to 60 mph: 28 mpg

Hey all

I'm in UK, over a 250 mile stretch staying between 50 and 60 mph, I got 41.2 mpg according to the trip computer! Are we using the same scale? Miles per gallon?! Thats from the 2.5L 10v petrol machine with autobox.

1996 850 GLT. Just over 30 mpg @ 70 mph on interstates. Around town, approximately 20 - 22 mpg.

1996 850 n/a with auto.

best I've gotten is 25 on the highway, but I ususally drive 75-80, and my foot is usually in it when the cruise isn't set.

we'll see how I do after this weekend. Going thru and replacing plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and filters. Then next week I have to drive 240 miles to get recalls done. (damn this living in the middle of nowhere)

Hi,
I don't really know if the MPG on the dashboard is accurate but in 2 weeks combined highway and town,
It shows 26.4MPG so it's not bad if this thing is accurate.

I just filled up and checked the MPG - 21.2 in my 99 V70 GLT. Much better than the ~10 that I was getting pulling over 1000 lbs on a trailer a few weeks back.

1996 volvo R 118,000 miles new timing belt, cold air package, sport exhaust system, extrude honed exhaust header mobil synth1 citgo 94/95 (don't remember) with me doing 75 on cruise on a recent 135 mile trip i averaged 27.9 (that is by taking mileage into how many gallons and then refilling-not sure if the trip computer is correct it says 29.9) city, who knows 12-14 +/-

Now that I have driven the R for a little while. 1995 T5-R
22 Mixed driving City and highway.(I sit in almost 1 hour traffic both ways a day)
26 The trip to SC for the funeral.
The wifes 1996 turbo which is modded got 27.
