Finding intake valves 95 850 T-5R
Hey guys
I found two bent valves in my 850 cyl 4 which was the cause of zero compression in that cyl. I'm having trouble finding the valves. I need two intake valves for a 1995 T-5R. The intake and exhaust valves are below. The intake is the larger dia. of the two with 6842419 1 N on it.The other is an exhaust valve. Can anyone tell the specs on the intake valve and where I can find two of them. Also do I need to replace the valve guides also, I inserted a good valve into the the hole that had the bad valve was and it sealed up fine. Shined a light down on top of it and couldn't see any light from below where I could see all kinds of light with the bent valve witch would not seat fully. Does this mean the valve seat is good?

valves should be easy to find - did you look at FCP Euro? search for PN 9471466 for the exhaust and PN 1397641 for the intake. If you have the head apart, why would you not want to also replace the valve guides and seals (guides cost about $4 each)? You also will need to seat in the new valves - hand lapping can be done but having a machine shop do the seat is the way to guarantee yourself 100K+ miles. Did you also check the head for flatness?
