Default first couple of questions

Does anyone know if you can replace the bushing inthe engine torque dampener that goes from the side of the valve cover to the firewall. And also, is the 1 thru 6 buttons on the bottom of the radio supposed to light up as well as the bottom of the gauges where the time and temp are displayed?

You mean this bushing? Pictured below, it is BLUE.

If your talking about this bushing then yes you can replace it. IPD and EST both sell a upgraded version of the OEM bushing. Engine Stabilizer Mount

Hi,

As for the bushing, Moderator S70 has covered it all.

As for the illuminations, yes they all should light up and yours may need new bulbs. Note, that the LCD display bulbs may be dealer-only item (or you can force-feed Radio Shack bulbs at your own risk[8D]). The illumination for the radio is even more rare, the radio is probably Alpine (Japanese crap) and they use tiny bulbs that are nested in special tiny sockets. I ended up soldering a tiny bulb I got from RS, but I wouldn't recommend this.

If you want to try the LCD bulbs on your own, here's a good instruction:

I hope this helps.
