Default Fog Light Adjustment

It maybe just my car, but don't our fog lights seem to be adjusted a tad too low.

I found the adjustment bolt on the fog light housing behind the air dam. However, I am only allowed to make one full turn.

There is a raised bump stop which restricts me to only make a 1/2 turn to the left and a 1/2 turn to the right.

Is there a way to adjust this bump stop mechanism? -- Or, do I simply remove this bump stop with a wood file?

You hit the nail on the head!!! Volvo does not want you to adjust the driving lamps..................if they are aimed to high it would "blind" oncoming drivers. I would do as you suggest by removing the 'stop'.

I need to adjust mine as well. How do you remove the bump stops? Do you have to remove the fogs or can it be done with them on?

You should be able to do it without removing it.
