Did the car come with foglights or did you add them?
Does the green light on the switch come on?

You know what I did notice that the light did not come on the switch.

They are stock fog lights but I was going to remove them and wire in some new/aftermarket ones.

Maybe it is a problem with the relay under the dash.
Is the OEM lights still good?

ummm the lights for the most part are good. It looked like one had been torn from the casing, so I dont think it is reparable.

Do you know where or how to locate the relay?

It is under the dash in the drivers side. I forget the color though.

I was asking about the lights because I am looking for some.

ok a little more to add. I checked the switch itself. I pulled it out and checked volts on the 4 wires. With the ground in place I get 11.0 volts on wires 2 and 3 with the switch off. When I turn the switch on I get 11.0 volts at wire 4 aswell. I did also notice the tight was on all the time on the switch but is too dim to see from the front. I could see it threw a crack in the back of the switch.

So I am still thinking the relay is bad.

Is there a way to test it before I buy a new one?
Thanks

I am guessing relay bad as well.
You would have to open the relay and inspect it and figure out how to test it.

just got under the dash and noticed the fog light relay is not even in the vehicle. Also I noticed the "front fog lamp bridge" is also missing. I guess this is why my fog lights dont work. I did find a relay but I have no idea what a bridge is?

The bridge looks like a relay but it only has 2 pins that make the lights work.
You can also change the position of the pins in the block to make the foglights work with the parking lights only.

Also you need to make sure the headlight relay is for one with Fogs as well.

Tech thanks for helping me through this dam thing but I did not understand your last sentence in your response.

dont want to sound stupid but I need both the bridge and relay for the fogs to work.

The second one is the one you need.
Also the foglight relay.

The last sentence means the car also has to have a headlight relay for a car with foglights.

If the car never had foglights then you need to change the headlight relay as well for one with the foglight setup in the relay.

FWI you can also take one out of a 960.

No biggie!!!
If you look for a 960 to take the headlight relay out of then you will have to dig under the dash good to get it.
9148991 is the bridge part#
9130269 is the relay part# (foglight)
9148880 is the headlight relay part#

If it did not come with fogs then you will need all 3 of them.
