Foreign Music
So I'm not currently driving my Volvo, it is sitting at home on the auction block.
I always found it exciting to play European music while driving it and find a nice two lane road to drive down. Of course I'm proud to be an American but I respect European culture (you have to after owning a Volvo). Anyway here are some good songs you guys should download to give you that European driving feel.
Eure Kinder - Chakuza (Austrian Rapper)
Bare en Pige / Just a Girl - L.O.C. (German?) featuring the American Tech N9ne
Mujeres in the club - Wisin and Yandel featuring 50 Cent
Gott Ist Ein Popstar - Oomph
If anyone feels me and knows of more post 'em. I would like to know more.

I also like European music and enjoy playing it in my Volvo. While I listen to a lot of British groups (especially Depeche Mode, The Police/Sting, and The Beatles) I'm also into European trance. My favorite trance artist is ATB, who is from Germany, although I'm also a big fan of 4 Strings, Ferry Corsten, Benassi Bros, Kirsty Hawkshaw, Energy 52, Bob Sinclar, and Eric Prydz. Eric Prydz is the only Swedish artist on this list (both 4 Strings and Ferry Corsten are Dutch, the Benassi Bros are from Italy, Kirsty Hawkshaw is British, Energy 52 is from Germany, and Bob Sinclar is French).
These groups aren't all that popular in the United States (although there was a Benassi Bros song on a Wendy's commercial several years ago and almost all of the groups I mentioned had exposure at Abercrombie & Fitch as store music about four years ago when the company was big on European tracks). Your best bet is to buy their tracks on iTunes, since the CDs are tough to come by at Best Buy and the like (although I did buy an ATB album at Best Buy last year). Keep in mind that some releases are Europe only and some tracks never seem to make it to the States.
My recommendations for the newbie to European trance:
Believe in Me Clubb Mix by ATB
Long Way Home by ATB
Far Beyond by ATB
Cafe del Mar Three in One Mix by Energy 52
Take Me Away by 4 Strings
Fire Radio Edit by Ferry Corsten
Call on Me JJ Stockholm Club by Eric Prydz
Fine Day James Holden Remix by Kirsty Hawkshaw
Reach for Me Solasso Remix by Kirsty Hawkshaw
Never Win (originally by Fischerspooner) Benny Benassi Remix (a lot of these guys mix other songs in addition to creating their own; this is a great example of a solid mix)
Every Single Day by Benassi Bros
I Feel Loved by Depeche Mode (worth noting in particular since it's a dance track released on an album of mostly ballads; DM is by no means a trance group but some of their songs, such as Enjoy the Silence, go well on a playlist with the other groups)
