Default Found somthing !

When I was changing the fuel pump the other day, I found this wire down in the tire well. Then end looks like some audio hook up and the wire is thicker than a speaker wire. I followed it up along the floor by the door but could not go any further to find the source. Can anyone tell me what this is for (850 turbo wagon 95). I think it might be for a subwoofer in the back or CD changer maybe.

The Volvo CD changer is a Alpine unit. Just pick up a used Alpine unit on eBay and drop it in.

Does it have to be an Alpine unit? I have a Kenwood 6cd changer (KDC-C662) with large DIN plug. Can I just get a cable with the appropriate ends and plug & play?

I did that, got used one for my V70. I had to go to stealer and get it programed to the car. That's why I don't like some Volvo things.
