Default fuel injector leaking

i did a search for this and came up close to my problem, but i still have a few ?'s.
the last 2 days i had smelt gas, but wasnt sure if it was my car or not. well i went from a qtr tank to the gas light coming on in a matter of less then 5 minutes.
so i had someone turn the key over for me while i looked in the engine bay. sure enough gas was spewing out very fast from around one of the injectors.
it looks to be coming from the top where it meets the fuel rail, so would that be the O-ring? or does this sound like a symptom of a leaking injector?

p.s. the fuel rail is connected to the head or whatver by 2 screws correct? if so, the one on the right is missing! and it is the very right injector that i am having problems with.
also once the car is off i was messing with it and when i pulled the fuel rail back and it spewed gas out between the rail and injector.

are the O-rings known for going out on these cars? or could it be just from the fuel rail screw missing?
thanks alot guys.
i am 2 hours from home at the moment and this is my dads car. not only do i need to get it fixed, but it my ride home!

thanks in advance

That screw needs to be there. That could be the Cause of the Leak but it might have ruined the o-ring having it Blow out like that.
