fuel pump

Hi All
How do you uncouple the quick connects on the fuel pump hoses?. Can you make a hand made tool?. Any help is much appreciated.

I use my Angled Needle nose pliers. Slide them down under the black peice. Then lift up carefully on the round black peice only. The hose should slide off then.
