Happy Memorial Day week-end everyone..starting problem.
I have never had a starting problem before with my '93 850, always starts right up. Parked the car at the airport for 3 days, came back, got in it, it turns over just fine but won't start on up. What do you think could be the problem. Guess I'll have to get it towed, as I'm not mechanically competent, but does it sound like a big issue? Thanks!
When did you change your spark plugs last?
The problem could be any number of issues. If the area has been wet for a while, could be that you got water some place where it shouldn't be.
One thing it might be is the fuel pump. A lot of people seem to have theirs failing lately. To test, use a broom or something hard, and tap the bottom of the fuel tank on the passenger side, while someone is cranking the car. If the car starts, your fuel pump died.
Edit: Try reading codes and see if you get any.

Also, next time try starting the engine with the gas pedal partially/fully open. Release it as soon as it catches. This technique is usually effective in hot climate.
