Has anyone painted their spark plug cover?

Default Has anyone painted their spark plug cover?

I was thinking of adding a splash of color under the hood by getting rid of that dull black color. Anyone done it before? Is there a high-temp plastic paint (which I assume would be needed)?

It's what I used and I haven't had a single issue yet, held up great. Just make sure you steel wool and clean it really good to get off all oil/residue.
