is this an head gasket failure?
my friends 1998 s70 glt over heated days ago. we are trying to figure out if it is an head gasket failure before taking any action. it looks like there is water in the oil.his heater core hose was leaking for weeks and he didnt take care of that.now there he goes with this problem. water gushes out of the tank and build pressure on cold start.here is a video of it.

Yea, that head is toast. SMH
I really don't understand why people play roulette with their car motors all the time. When you drive around with any coolant leak, one day your going to loose that game and the motor/head pays the price. Well, the owner pays the price. My head gasket wasn't near as bad as that, it only got more coolant forced in there slowly while driving on the freeway (higher RPM's).
You can drain the oil and see if it looks like chocolate milk or ice cream it's real bad. If it's clean, pour it back in the motor.
