Default Headlight REFLECTOR: can I replace it?

1995 850 Turbo Wagon.

The silvering on my headlight reflectors is coming off. Can I buy a replacement reflector only?

Also, the outside reflector has a black metal "support" which seems to have no function. The lamp does not protrude thru it nor touch it. I was thinking of trying to remove it since it obviously blocks some light. It is attached in two places; don't know if I can yank it out or have to cut it with heavy metal shears.

Yes you can swap them out.
The metal piece you ask about is there to shine the light properly.

Is there a part number for the reflector? I can't find it by a keyword search on any of the parts sites I tried.

Not sure of a part number off hand. You might have to find a used one.
