Default Headlight wiper jammed

My headlight wiper when i was cleaning it jumped vertically on it own and now it won't go back down. I don't want to force it cuz it basically killing the motor inside. I was wondering is there anyway to fix it. I am not sure was it the cold or just hydraulics any ideas? (-5.8 F or -21 C) I hope it a easy fix, the car looks weird right now

Those motors tend to go bad all the time. As soon as I bought my R the first thing I did was unplug them.

To fix it you will probably have to take the motor out and reset/realign it. As Tech said, a lot of people unplug the motors and leave the wiper on just for looks, or remove it altogether.

If I decide to get my T5R painted, I'm removing the wipers all together and getting the trim pieces that don't have the wipers. I really do not like the look of the wipers at all and I have them on all three cars. My 94 850 Turbo did not have them and it looked better. They come with the Winter Package so the 94 also didn't have the heated seats, which I do like.
