Thats going to look great!!

Not to comment on the price of yours, because obviously you haven't got an 850, but I saw some prices in the region that you encountered in regard to the same lights for my model, the 850.

Just in case anyone else is considering these jewel light and matching corners for an 850, right now on VolvoSpeed, clears cn be had immediately for $375, and clear or black under a group buy within 2 weeks, again for $375.

I've no interest in either of these sales, in fact I only know because I'm buying a clear set, but I did want to make people aware of the prices.

AGAIN, I'm sure you got an awesome deal, its just for the 850 that I've noticed the huge price variation.

Can't wait to see your pics.

Those look great. Has anybody seen any clear tail lights? If I do the headlights I want the tail light done too. Another thing, and I've said this before, I think they look better w/o those wipers on the headlights. I don't know why but I don't like the looks of those things.

im going to be polite as possible - however - it must not be that obvious, if im under the 850 forums. had you checked my profile, you would have seen this.

if anybody is considering these lights for their 850, i would definately look into what Mass850 said, sounds like an outstanding deal. However, make sure you read thouroughly. less than $400 for *both* headlights is cheaper than the factory lights, at 250+ per light. maybe its just markup in my area, i dunno honestly, but i dont think euro aftermarket lights will be cheaper than standard lights. then again, this is the first time ive paid more than $30 for one lamp, and on my first volvo. 850.

jim, if you get a line on some tail lights, pretty please put it up here, ive been looking long and hard for them, no results. maybe because i have a wagon >.<

If all else fails and you can't find some put in some V70 Taillights they will make it look different.
They will also last alot longer than the 850 ones.

I have heard of someone on here did it. But no pics. If you can find a V70 park next to it and compare to yours.

Sigh,

First my mistake, I saw your wheels, which I like, and for some reason assumed that they were not on an 850 - MY BAD.

I was I thought, trying to be extremely polite and not offend you in any way, because, the thrust of my post was to save anybody with an 850 paying any more than needed, at that point, I had believed it didn't apply to you, again, MY BAD.

What isn't MY BAD, is pointing out for anyone else that wants them, that as of this week, the whole caboodle is available for $375, headlights and turn signals, feel free to head over to 'detailing' on VS forums. One is a group buy, the other for chrome only is a local supplier, well local to me.

In point of fact, I did see a combined price on ebay of $500 for jewel lights and corners, so, I thought the $375 was a great deal.

Finally, I have V70 lights on the back of my 850 wagon and like them.

Finally, finally, I made this post in good faith hoping to save people money, as it did me, and in no way intended to cause offence.

Sincerely,

Mick

Hi Flame,

Absolutely, I'll try find a dry moment tomorrow, and take a pic for you.

I'm waiting to hear if mine can go in for window tinting on Saturday or I have to wait until Tuesday, I feel that the crisper V70 lights will look nicer with the window tint. If by chance its Saturday, I'll wait and take a pic afterwards, either way I'll post a photo.

Again, I want to say how bad, and silly, I felt over the headlight confusion.

Mick

was just rootin around the web, and stumbled upon this site

http://www.racerwheel.com/g49-gt0881...HUKH8R6EHH4GJ4

in case somebody didnt want to spend much money at all, check this out, its the smokey lense covers for volvo's. my wife has them for her intrepid, it drastically changes the look of the car. however, they CANNOT be ran at night, i found out the hard way. when the ticket says 'for show only' , they're not kiddin, or mean during daytime hours at least.

Edit: theres not much on the site, may have to send an email or call for more information. the image they show for the product, looks like a mustang, but im sure its just intended to give an example of the product styling.
