Heater Blower Lubrication

Heater Blower Lubrication
Hi everybody,
The heater blower motor on my car was chirping whenever I
ran over a bump so I took it out and cleaned it. I flushed the
bearings with WD-40 and the bearings are much smoother
and quiter now. The motor shaft has a few thousands play from
end to end but no side play. The bearings don't feel badly worn.
The question is what do I use to replace the lubricant I flushed
out? Has anyone found something that lasts so that I don't have
to keep taking this thing out to re-lubricate it?

RE: Heater Blower Lubrication
Hi Rev and billofdurham,
Thanks for the advice. That sounds like a good solution. Nine
months is encouraging, I've had people tell me that lubrication
doesn't work- that the only solution is to replace the motor.
I'll give this a try and hopefully it will last a little longer.
Best regards, John
