Default Heater blower motor squeeky

Howdy all,

As of late, the heater/AC blower motor has started to softly squeak. It is only noticable when slowing the fan speed down, or when shutting off the car. It does not squeak at any particualr speed, just when it is slowing down or turning off. Needless to say, I would like to see if I can clean and oil it to stop the noise before it gets really bad. I'm assuming the motor is behind the dash on the passenger side, but can I get to it by taking the inner part of the glove box out?

Any tips or dierections on how to access the motor is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Glenn

You will have to remove the Glove Box and the Knee Bolster as well.
Then you will be able to remove it.

Thanks Tech,

That doesn't sound too hard. I've removed the dash pad and all to fix the odometer (what a PITA). As long as it is not as difficult as that, I'll give it a shot.
