Default Help!! AC, heater, and lights...

So several things in play here and haven't seen identical scenario in searching posts, although similar. Here's the issues. Blower is on, pushing air whether on heat or AC. BUT, on heat, it's not hot and very low air volume coming out. On AC, its strong volume but Not cold at all.

During the winter, the engine temp never reached normal operating temp. Gauge read cold constantly. Now its warmer out, gauge reaches norm temp.

The shifter light is out, the driver's side heated seat led lights as "on" but the button itself isn't illuminated. Dome lights sometimes come on, sometimes not. I can push hard on buttons and it'll come on.

The ECC blows on manual or automatic function. Getting heat/AC to work is first goal.

Where to start?

the way the car works is the heater core is always "on", but the temp is controlled by the fan speed and a door (damper) that allows the airflow to go through the core. The AC also has a door but no cold could be a function of the compressor. When you run the AC do the pipes through the firewall feel cold? Sounds like you may have an issue with the doors being out of sync or one of the motors has disconnected its rod or perhaps a temp sensor etc. There are codes that can be pulled from the ECC computer too. I'd also start by checking fuses/relays. Good resources include volvotips.com and volvowiringdiagrams.com
