Default HELP!!! throttle problem/ignition problem?

Alright so today I completely cleaned out the pcv system and changed out the oil sep and put some new vac lines in. I am almost 100 % positive that I have everything hooked up correctly.
The problem Im having is the car is having troubles idleing and when I give it gas it doesnt respond right away. I mean its atleast a 2-3 second delay before my car starts to move and then it still hesitates a bit till i actually get going. Also when I give her full throttle she cuts off around 5000rpmish, its really wierd.
Any ideas

i'm gunna go out on a limb here but where is this piece after you did the replacement?

is that piece behind the intake manifold, or is it on the outside? of the manifold

i'm only saying this because after my PCV change my car wouldnt even start with that piece BEHIND the intake manifold so in conclusion make sure that piece is on the OUTSIDE of the intake manifold check that first then go from there

I threw that metal clip out, it seems useless.

But I am such a DUMBASS, I jsut went out to my car and found a huge puddle of oil under my car, my only guess is I didnt clamp the hose on the oil trap tight enough or wherever my dipstick goes into the oil pan is no longer attached =S
could this explain it? I dont think so but im not sure...
Ive checked over all piping and vac lines and everything checks fine. I tested the maf and it works..maybe my cap&rotor? Im loss

Default problem resolved

Ok so I figured out why I had sluggish performance. It was due to the ptc rubber boot being worned out.

What are you referring to as the "ptc boot"?

Ok well maybe it isnt called a boot but Im referring to rubber housing at the base of the ptc where it plugs into the intake pipe. The rubber was so worn out that the ptc would not stay in place and it would come out.
