Here we go again
I sold my 1994 850 yesterday and got a 1995 850 today from what appeared to be a nice old lady. I brought my dad a long a.k.a Mr. fix it and know it all. I thought he checked the car from top to bottom since I know nothing about cars. Well my check engine light came on so I rushed it to the guy so that he can pull the codes. He said that the car needs an evr or egr valve job. My dad thinks that it might just be clogged. I don't really want my dad touching my car because my mom's car still has no engine because my dad took it out and that has been since July of 2004. To have this valve job done is it expensive? Overall I love my new car and the turbo works on this one.

I would check the vent box first.I have a feeling it is clogged.
It should cost a couple of hundred dollars to get it fixed.
