I just ordered some D2S Bulbs, and I was able to grab some BMW Hella E55 projectors for 60 bucks locally! For the pair, and I started the retrofit tonight. I still have a TON of work more to do, but here's what I got so far.

Does anyone have any advise for a beginner retrofitter? Comments?

are the extra hole for the mounting of the projectors ? i was thinking of adding some to my HID. looking forward on seeing the finish product.

 

Yep, however I just figured out I'll have to mount from behind the reflector. I found mouting from the front to be a little bit hard,

 

Crap, I just realized that with the projector sitting back, I am going to loose the ability to close my hood latch because of how the latches protrude into the housing. Anyone have any ideas on a fix? Relocate?
