High boost pressure

On our cars the engine computer controls the turbo's boost by varying the vacuum on the waistgate control diaphragm . This is done thru a boost control solenoid which is located below the distributor. It is about 2 inches long and round. A wire plug on one face and 3 vacuum lines on the other. The solenoid rarely fails. The vacuum lines however do fail causing the computer to "loose" control of the turbo. Do take care of this. Over boosting doesn't do the engine any good.
