Hood latch Volvo 850

I have a 95 850 that the passenger side hood latch won't catch. Is this an easy fix and how do you do it.

Maybe it needs to be adjusted. The screws that hold it to the body loosen them and adjust the latch and see if it helps.

And I believe they were either 10mm or 12mm. Correction fluid comes in handy in this kind of alignment-critical operations.
