hey guys , i baught a nice momo steering wheel and hub and want to install it. i took off the black plastic covers that are over the steering coloum and found out that the bolts on the wheel to remove the airbag are just a round circle ( no head ) .
how do i get the airbag out on these damn 850s lol.
what are the steps to take off the steering wheel?

Try posting on volvospeed.com the same question. I wish I could help you, but I have no idea how to do it. Or search vovlospeed and see if you can find the answer that way.

 

The screws from the backside are t-30 screws. You need to remove the 2 of them. Well actually loosen them all the way they will not come all the way out.

Then you can get to the 18MM bolt to remove the wheel.

 

does the air bag come fully out or just enough to remove the wheel bolt? will i need a steering wheel puller ?

 

Once you unplug the air bag it will come all the way off.
No puller needed.
