Default One fuse for fuel and spark?

I seem to remember doing a compression check on a '98 V70, and finding that removing a single fuse would disable both the fuel (pump?) and the ignition; I remember thinking "That's a good idea: why doesn't everyone do it this way?" Or am I imagining this?

I'm not sure. It is possible that unplugging the CAM sensor will do it. I just don't like messing with the cam sensor.
