How I stopped my tailgate rattle
I hope this helps some one.
Step one was to repair the clips using a kit from IPD. Some of the old ones were broken so this help a little.
Step two as you can see in the attached pictures was to split a piece of hard plastic tubing and put it around the bar that the tailgate latches to. This replaces the original plastic that was around the bar. I also used Gorilla glue to fill and hold this in place.
Step three, if you look at the mounting holes in the first picture you can see that they are a larger than the mounting screws so I adjusted it so it holds the tailgate tighter. This probably did the most good.
Now I have to find the rattle in the dashboard.

Size of Tubing
What size tubing did you use? What was be best source for a small piece? Thanks.
Some of my hatch sound may be because my mechanic messed around with the rear hatch where the trim is connected to hatch, and it sounds like crickets or plastic shifting plus the clunk. Multiirritant. Any idea other than that kit? They told my the plastic needed to put those fixes on was gone. I don't know what to believe right now from them though. Thanks for other ideas.
The screws installed by a previous owner were working fine for plastic trim, but mechanic didn't like them, and thought he was doing a favor by 1) loosening hatch (I had to push in, to open, and only showed them that because I wanted him to tighten some of the trim screws). He loosened hatch, so now it clunks, and then took out all 4 screws, and put in two screws in another location. I'm afraid to let them have it back. This was third trip in, after leaving it for a week and spending 1400$. I wanted front and rear suspension replaced, but they didn't think that the rear needed it since it had been done before, but charged for bunch of other stuff I didn't ask for.
Thanks
