Welcome To Volvo Motor Sports

Since those days alot has changed..

Id Stay away from VMS, they owe alot of people money for parts that were never received.

As far as forged rods there are a bunch of options these days:

You have
ARD Forged Connecting rods 139.5 mm
RSI RSI Whiteblock H-beam rods
ASC ASC Rods - ASC Rods but they only sell on ebay now ASC Forged 4340 H Beam Rods Volvo 850 T 5 2 3L B5234T ASC850RODS | eBay
CX Racing Cxracing Volvo 850 H Beam Connecting Rods 139 5mm Rod Length | eBay
Carrillo Home
LG Speed available through Viva Forged Connecting Rods, 850, S/V/C 70 - ViVA Performance
And there always the chineese rods that go for about $250 a set when you can find them

As far as pistons go

RSI RSI Turbo Waveguide Whiteblock Pistons
Wiseco They have to be made so It takes like 3 weeks before they can ship them they run between $750 and $900 depending on your options

My personal opinion go with the RSI rods and piston combo, there a couple guys in the PNW autocross with RSI internals... no problems

MattyXXL ,,, much better update

I've got nothing to say good about CX racing as just last month they doubled their price on 850 139.5mm connecting rods. They were under 400 and then when I went to buy them they spiked the price to 759.00 and now I see they are offering them at a huge 144 dollar discount at oniy 614.00

Great way to get an extra 2 or 300 bucks in there.
