Does anyone know the size of the S80 t6's connecting rods and pistons? Any other cars use this size? Does anywhere make forged/hardened versions? How about valvesprings and valves?

I don't know the sizes but I do know people do make better rods and pistions four our Volvo's. Now if they make them for s80 model I don't know.

Volvospeed.com has more information about this type of item.

I forget some of the brand names that people were using. But if you go over to Volvospeed.com they should be able to help you out more. Then you can bring the info over here and inform all of us.

Well, I know that JE will make you pistons for B18, B204, B23T, and 5 Cylinder engines.
As for connecting rods I guess you would have to get custom and that will be anywhere from $1300 for 6 rods to $995 per rod for titanium.
I think the internals should hold up to about 400hp, but tell me if it's a mistake not to upgrade!
