Default I need help fixing my Volvo 850 wagon

Ok so the roads were extra ****ty when I left for school one morning long story short I ended up flipping the car over into a ditch.

Nothing is seriously damaged on the car other than some minor dents and scratches but for whatever reason the car won't start. The weird part about it is though when we turn the car on not like turning over or anything the power is all on but when I go to physically start the car the power is lost completly me and my dad have no clue why its doing this or what could cause this.

Also we have no idea how to get to the starter in the car any information would be helpful thanks in advance.

Start by fully charging the battery and then check your battery cables. Some of the battery cables have secondary leads that are bolted onto the main lugs, pull those off and clean those connections as well if you have them.

Getting to the starter is easier if you remove the fan and the fan shroud. I changed one on my son's Non Turbo without removing the fan by removing the airbox and unbolting the automatic transmission dipstick. It was a tight fit that took a bunch of twirling the old starter around to clear things but it worked.

I'm betting either the battery is toasted (some of the internal plates broke loose after the impact), or the starter (or it's wiring) is messed up
