I'm looking to sell a 1994 Volvo for parts - I've contacted some salvage yards with little success. Has anyone had any experiences with good salvage yards or contacts in LA that would assist my search?

I'm looking to best maximize profit on this car. It's in good condition, but not running (a minus).

Salvage yards are not going to give you top dollar. If you want to maximize profit, list parts on these forums and on ebay.

 

+1.....Part out the car or sell it for parts on the forums then whatever you have left, send to the salvage yard. Most salvage yards pay 10-15% upto a grand then they strip the car and part out for sale.

 

focus on things that will sell for the highest money value and try hard to sell them (ie trans, engine, air bags, etc) then focus on selling body and interior, you can make a decent buck.

 

Wheels, interior bits, seats, carpets, tool set, mirriors, bodypanels...etc.

post a few pics....

 

yeah look to sell those hard to find pieces, or high in demand, those that break, and yeah list things on here, i'd buy stuff :P is it Naturally aspirated.
