IAC / Control Slide PSA: O`Reillys Standard Ignition Branded Part is a Bosch
Hello everyone!
I recently had my IAC, AKA control slide fail. After looking everywhere for a new Bosch one with no luck I ordered the Standard Ignition AC397 from O'Reilly's since it looked exactly like the old one. Others I looked at had a cast-looking casing and the angle of the connector was wrong. When the Standard Ignition part came in the mail it was a Bosch 0280140542 in a Standard Ignition cardboard box. The part number off my old one matched the new one.
