Default I'm happy

Well, just got back from the Chicago area, went down there with an empty car and came back with a trunk full of goodies. Four door panels with all the speakers, plus the suede inserts, suede armrest from center console, T5-R badge, and best of all, T5-R front bumper!

All this going in my wagon. And best part of all, only cost $140. Plus about $15 in Illinois toll ways. I'll put up some pictures of all the stuff this weekend.

Thanks, it was sad leaving knowing that the car is only going to get junked now, wish I had more time, I would have pulled more stuff from it.

You should have towed the entire junk.

Probably would have, the only thing stopping me were the cinder blocks it was sitting on.

I was pumped when I saw they were still in there. I might sell the suede center console though, depends how it all looks once it's in the wagon. I wish the interior is in better shape, that T5-R was in ROUGH shape.

DUH! Definitely getting some fogs for sure. Not for a while though. I gotta stop buying cosmetic stuff and start concentrating on looking for things that are going to make it run properly.

You mean you got everything, including the R bumper for $140???

That's what I call a bargain!

Yup, everything in those pics besides the mats/sills and leather armrest I got for 140. And it sucks cause it got dark out, otherwise I would have grabbed more stuff, but the whole not seeing part is hard.

BTW: If anyone is looking for some black leather rear seat skins for a wagon (94-97 850, 98-00 V70) I may have a set, brand new looking. Real cheap.

Agreed!!! LOL
I need a new R bumper as well. But there is no way I would be able to find one anywhere near that cheap!

Yeah, I agree, I got way lucky. I think the guy just wanted this thing gone. I'm still sad I didn't have more time or the resources to get some more stuff out of it, I really wanted the glove box assembly and the walnut trim. The T5-R's trim is my favorite out allllll of the 850's, it's sooo pretty.

There's like a smalll crack in the bumper, it's not structural or antyhing like that, but I figure I'll just take some plastic weld to wipe over it, and then sand it smooth since I'm painting it anyways.
