Exclamation Important: Need new main engine wire harness

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT AND URGENT! In need/in search of a New Engine Wire Harness for my 1996 Volvo 850 Wagon. Anyone know where I could find one or does anyone have one? Please please please. I am in need.

When you say new, you mean new? If you mean "out of a junk car that didn't burn" then I think everybody has that.

I can tell you that the wiring harness doesn't really come apart like you'd expect. You're going to have to cut and splice, I think. I've never seen a car built like these are. The underhood wiring is irreversibly entangled on both sides of the car. I think on the fuse box side you could probably get it all apart under the dash, but I have not tried it. On the PCM side there is additional wiring heading back through the firewall. The engine harness and all that stuff are both hooked to the computer sockets.

did you check out ebay or craigslist to look for somebody parting out an 850. You can also try a recycle yard - car-part.com will search who has 850s near you.

Originally, I was hoping for new...but realized Volvo themselves has discontinued the replacement part for this. So now I have resorted to the salvage yards. Thank you for your response!
